Setup: Medicine Ball 2-6 lbs. or 5/10lb plate, floor space.
Position: Sit on on the floor, knees bent, holding the med. ball or plate with both hands in front of your abdomen. Feet may either be held in the air a couple of inches off the ground (greater degree of difficulty) or on the ground with just the heels in contact.
Movement: Twist from side to side with the ball or plate tapping the ground once or twice (more difficult). Only turn the shoulders, keep the knees in place. Turning each direction completes one repetition.
