Chest Pass - Med. Ball

Position: Standing facing a wall or partner, holding a med ball with both hands, chest high.


Movement: Throw the ball by "pushing" it away from the chest, extending the arms and flipping the wrists, if possible.  


Coaching Points: 1) Keep the ball even so that it does not lean towards the dominate arm. 2) Catch and throw; as soon as the ball is returned, get rid of it. 3) Don't allow the ball to contact the chest. 4) Do not take a step with this drill.
