Pushup Start

Pushup Start: The first two steps are the most important part of acceleration. The pushup start works on pushing off of your drive leg with quick turnover. Start in the bottom of a pushup position and simultaneously push up while bringing your dominant foot underneath your body to run up off the ground. To avoid falling forward, bring the heel up and through for fast foot recovery. This requires timing, turnover, and balance.
