Setup: Floor space

Position: Lay face down on the floor. Legs straight, arms straight ahead fully extended, hence the name superman/woman.

Movement: It is a very short movement, but activates important muscles in the hip and back. Raise the arms and thighs off the ground. The shoudlers will rise and back will arch. The head is not invovled, keep it in neutral position. 

Options: 1) Raise both arms and legs together.

2) Raise one side only, but do both sides; right arm, right leg - left arm, left leg.

3) Raise opposite limbs: right arm-left leg; left arm-right leg.
