Week 4 Training Breakdown

Day 1: 0–10 Yards Focus

Dynamic Warm-Up:

  • Heel to Butt
  • High Knees
  • Pedal the Bicycle

Main Drills:

  • ½ Ladders – Hops, Steps, Icky Shuffle, Cross Over, Carioca
  • Hurdles – 1–3 step and hops
  • Speed Work – short explosive sprints

This day is all about mechanics and quick-twitch response. Dial in your first 10 yards—it’s where the race is often won.

Day 2: Combo Day

  • ½ Ladders
  • Change of Direction Drills using cones

Movement in sport is rarely in a straight line. This day combines agility and footwork to teach your body to transition seamlessly.

Day 3: 0–30 Yards

  • Lead Ups
  • ½ Ladders
  • 10 Hurdles
  • Finish with resisted or unresisted sprints

From start to finish—this is an all-out day. Extend your power from the 10-yard start to 30-yard acceleration.

Day 4: Conditioning Day

Warm-Up and Sprint Set:

  • 60 – 80 – 100 – 120 – 100 – 80 – 60 yards

Build your engine. These conditioning sets simulate what it feels like to sprint when you’re already tired—something every athlete needs.

Final Thought

Week 4 isn’t just another week—it’s proof that your effort has been building toward something real. From day one to now, you’ve layered drills, lifted with purpose, and sprinted with intensity. Let that momentum carry you into July.
