Setup: Plenty of floor space.
Position: Staggered stance, front knee bent at least 45 degrees.
Movement: The athlete jumps upward, switches foot/leg position in the air, and performs a two footed landing. The athlete should "stick" the landing, that is, land and hold a stable position before making the next jump. The next jump is then executed by jumping up, switching leg position, and sticking the landing and repeating. Height or leg speed can be alternated as the object of the jump.
A variation is to hold a pair of dumbbells while jumping. If that is done, a contrast set (no dumbbells) should be done on the final set.
