Position: Same hand and knee on a flat bench, long ways, back straight, head neutral/still (looking down). Grip always with fingers and thumb around the handle.
Breathing: Exhale when you exert at the start of the exercise and inhale when returning to start position.
Start/Movement/Finish: The arm holding the dumbbell hangs below the shoulder. Pick up the elbow and let the hand follow, as opposed to pulling the hand up. Raise hand until it makes contact with the torso and lower under control.
